Terms of use

TrueBoost is an independent analysis of Counter-Strike 1.6 server promotion. We poll servers ourselves, collect public monitor data and show how many live players promotion brings. The site is free. We do not sell promotion and take no money from monitors for a place in the ranking.

• An account is created the first time you sign in through Steam, Telegram or Discord. You are responsible for access to those accounts.
• You may verify only servers you run. A server is verified with a code in its name or in sv_contact.
• Do not give others access to your account and do not sign in to someone else's.

Plugin and public API keys are secret. Do not publish them or hand them to third parties. If a key leaks, write to support and we will issue a new one.

The plugin must report real server events. Faking events, players or online is a violation, and the server is disconnected from TrueBoost for it.

By installing the plugin, the server owner tells players in the server rules that TrueBoost collects join statistics. What exactly is collected is described in the policy.

You may use API data on your own sites, bots and plugins. Say that the data comes from TrueBoost and link to trueboost.ru.

Each key has a limit of requests per minute. Do not get around it with several keys and do not resell access to the API. Details are on the developers page.

• inflating online, running mirrors or tampering with the data TrueBoost sees;
• attacking the site, flooding it with requests or looking for ways to get other people's data;
• pretending to be the TrueBoost administration or the owner of someone else's server;
• sending spam or abuse to support.

We may hide a server from lists and rankings, flag it suspicious, unlink its owner, disable a plugin or API key, and block an account. If you disagree with a decision, write to support.

The figures on the site are estimates from public data: server polling, monitor listings and plugin data. We try to count fairly and describe the method in the FAQ, but we do not guarantee the figures are accurate or complete. TrueBoost data is not advice to buy or not to buy promotion; that decision is yours.

If a monitor or server owner thinks the data about them is wrong, they can write to support: we will check and correct it if we made a mistake.

The site, plugin and API are provided as is. We are not liable for downtime, data lost to failures, or decisions you make based on our figures.

We may change these terms. A new version applies from the date at the top of the page. These terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation.
